Shrimp
Shrimp is one of the most popular and nutritious types of seafood. Shrimps are valued for their high nutritional properties and their distinctive taste. Shrimps are rich in proteins, Omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins B12 and D, as well as important micronutrients such as iodine and zinc. This seafood is ideal for cooking numerous dishes and is an important part of a healthy diet.
Shrimps inhabit seas and freshwaters all over the world, including tropical and subtropical regions. In the Far East of Russia shrimps are caught in the waters of Kamchatka, the Sea of Okhotsk and Tatar Strait.
