Pink salmon
Pink salmon possesses a tender and juicy meat distinctive for its pleasant pink color. Pink salmon meat has a light and delicate taste which makes it ideal for various kinds of cooking – from baking and frying to salting and smoking. It is easy to cut it and it actually contains no small bones, which makes it convenient to cook and eat.
Pink salmon lives in the waters of the Pacific Ocean. It is also widely spread in the waters near coastlines of Kamchatka, the Kuriles and Sakhalin.
It prefers water ranging between 7 and 14°С. Pink salmon spawns in rivers. It gains in weight in the sea and goes again to rivers to spawn.
